New Season

Started 2nd on grid though jumped by 5 on first lap and it is usually me that jumps a lot at the start so not sure what is going on.

Lets all have a better season than last

Evening all.

Held up by a slow car and not able to overtake, frustrating.

Looks like Mediums was the right tyre choice.

Ex Softs seemed to last 14laps before wobbly wheels
Softs 19 laps

Mediums i hope to get to about 26 / 27

Only snag is not sure enough fuel, seems very thirsty despite me upping my fuel from 200 L last time raced here to 220L. might be a pit on last couple of laps so 3 stopper instead of 2

I missed the start but must have gone backwards for a while.
I had forgotten how exciting rookie was, not quite sure what's going to happen here.

I know what you mean, the strategies are very different from Amateur, a wide range, some have got fuel & tyres hopelessly wrong,. Even those that went for one stopper will struggle as pitted before half way,so should pick up good points, though not sure if fuel will get me through 2 stopper, might just be short it is very tight

You and a number of others are doing well, I am doing dreadful, worse than ever!

Fuel is very tight but think it might just make it, might get a 4th or 5th at worst

Widdle you seem to be miles ahead even if you do pit it looks good for 1st

Strange. In stint 2 i done less laps on more fuel than I did in stint 1 ?

I had similar, i put it down to the increase in temperature

Depends on my time in and out of the pits I think.

Get him to coast for a bit.

Well done Wrighty, Sketch and Luigi. Bad luck Major, first race nerves, get him to have a stiffy before the next race ( I mean a drink of course).

Finding live tough in my first season in Am....

But I have found some pace tonight , possible points finish ...

Well done, it is tough in Amateur as cars much more competitive and money can be very tight to make improvements.

Looking good for good finish today, my strategy seems spot on and others on track i think have got their fuel amounts wrong so will pit once more than me.

well I did say Possible so we will see , but being in the top 10 with 20 laps gone is better than being in 20th with 10 laps gone lol...
